Welcome to Los Alamitos Medical Center!

In order to gain access to our electronic medical record systems it’s best to complete the following steps before seeing patients at LAMC:

1. Register on eTenet: you should have received a notice to your personal email with instructions. If you did not receive this email go to and follow the screen prompts for new users.
Your unique ID is:________________, you will need this to register. Please register prior to computer training. You may also call the help desk at 877-639-7575 for assistance registering.

2. Complete Mandatory Cerner (EMR) and CareAware Secure Messaging Training: Schedule after eTenet and HPF set up has been completed to expedite training time. Please contact Judy Quilligan or a Clinical Informatics team member for CPOE, medication reconciliation, depart and clinical notes training (1 hour) at 562-799-3532 or email If you already use Cerner at another Tenet facility, then a brief overview on hospital CPOE requirements can be coordinated before you start rounding. CPOE medical staff requirements are attached.

3. Obtain HPF (medical records, Dragon Voice Activated System and Dictation training and access): Visit Medical Records at 3771 Katella Ave., Ste. 211 or call 562-799-3219, Option 2.

4. Obtain PACs (radiology films) access: Contact PACs administrator Joe Banko at 562-799-3179 or
