A Message From Our Chief of Staff
Many years ago, I started practicing neurology at Los Alamitos Medical Center by covering for another neurologist during the weekends. I really enjoyed coming to Los Alamitos Medical Center because of the caring environment that was made possible by so many people: the superb medical staff, the dedicated nursing and departmental staffs, and the center’s forward-thinking administration. I found Los Alamitos Medical Center to be a place where I could share my passion for medicine by delivering the best care possible to my patients, and I am proud to say that after 17 years I still feel inspired every time I enter the hospital doors.
During my long association with the medical center, I have been involved in many improvement projects and programs. Now, I have been chosen to lead those efforts as Chief of Staff. Please know that I hold in the highest esteem the confidence that has been placed in me: It is the driving force behind the leadership and guidance I intend to provide during my tenure. At this juncture, our medical center has many great opportunities at hand that will allow us to build upon the high level of care we already deliver to our patients.
The involvement of our physicians has always been key to our medical center’s growth and success; that involvement is an important part of our future as well. As Chief of Staff, I will continue to challenge myself and my colleagues to find new and better ways for us to enhance the fine medical care we already offer at Los Alamitos Medical Center. To that end, I am here to encourage and help facilitate the participation of my colleagues. Our medical community is comprised of many gifted and talented physicians who share an unwavering commitment to our patients and the practice of medicine, and to you, my door is always open.
