We are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience. To do so, we are actively working with consultants to update the website by increasing its accessibility and usability by persons who use assistive technologies such as automated tools, keyboard-only navigation, and screen readers.

Community Outreach

Los Alamitos Medical Center has been part of a growing community since 1968 and offers health-related resources to its residents.

Outreach resources currently being offered:

Premiere Advantage “Lunch and Learn” Lectures

This free program offers nine lectures per year on topics that can include joint replacement, cholesterol and diabetes, stroke, gastroenterology, eye health and advance directives.

These informative and educational sessions are held at the Old Ranch Country Club at 3901 Lampson Ave., Seal Beach, CA 90740. Call 855-840-3668 for program dates and reservations.

Operation Snuggle

Los Alamitos Medical Center proudly directs a program we call “Operation Snuggle.” This program donates storybooks, stuffed animals, coloring books and crayons to children who are waiting in our Emergency Department. It also supplies our senior patients with books and decks of cards.

Donations are welcome for all ages. If you would like to make a donation, contact the hospital’s Social Services department at (562) 799-3194, or visit the department between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
