Community Outreach

Los Alamitos Medical Center has been part of a growing community since 1968 and offers health-related resources to its residents.

​Outreach resources currently being offered:

Our hospital staff participates in national health awareness walks. Join our team as we walk for heart health in February. 

The LAMC team Marches for Babies and is a part of Strike Out Stroke.  

February is National Heart Health Awareness Month and hospital staff will wear red on February 5th for Go Red for Women day!

Premiere Advantage “Lunch and Learn” Lectures 

Los Alamitos Senior Lunch and Learn Series

This free program offers nine lectures per year on topics that can include joint replacement, cholesterol and diabetes, stroke, gastroenterology, eye health and advance directives. 

These informative and educational sessions are held at the Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church at 11600 Los Alamitos Blvd. Call (800) 548-5559 for program dates and reservations.

​LAMC staff members support many organizations and they come together to support local organizations throughout the year with food and toy drives. Organizations we support include:
