Using computerized tomography (CT scans), Los Alamitos Medical Center is now performing lung cancer screenings on patients who meet specific criteria. Patients must be at least 40 years of age, have 10 or more years of smoking or asbestos or other environmental hazard exposure, and have a physician referral. This service is offered as a pre-paid cash only program that includes the professional interpretation of your results ($350). Ask your doctor for more information.
